Costomer's opinon

Costomer's opinon

From: john@.....nu

Hi Miguel,

Just want to thank you for a work well done today. I had a great time, learnt a lot and I think I got the highlights of Mallorca. I especially enjoyed the tout in the cathedral. Trust me, I am not a atheist, I have just spent too much time in churches on guided tours with guides explaining the religious blablabla on... You kept it to the minimum and you made it interesting. I will remember the three different ways of telling the story of Christ’s flesh and blood. Some of Mozart’s best music are made for the church. So I guess it’s all a matter of financing. That’s the full circle: the new art in the cathedral was paid by companies. I will gladly give you good reviews and I hope you will manage to make a living out of guiding. The day-trading days are over and you live in a place to be proud of.

All the best from John and Jonathan

Barcelona Special Christmas Tour

Barcelona Special Christmas TourBarcelona Special Christmas Tour

Isn't it nice to walk around the streets and feel Christmas in the air?

But when you are in a foreign city, sometimes you are a bit lost trying to find the local Christmas spots...

TAKE A CHRISTMAS BARCELONA TOUR!

I'll organize an itinerary to show you how locals live this cheerful time of the year, at the same time that we discover together the city Old Town.

- Christmas market in front of the Old Cathedral: Nativities, Christmas threes and local traditions.

- Real size Nativities: in the cloister of the Old Cathedral and in the Plaça Sant Jaume.

- Nativities Diorama exhibit: in the Betlem Chruch (La Rambla).

- Ponsetia: In Christmas time La Rambla is red and green from this plant. Get to the flower market to buy one and decorate your house!

- Christmas lights: In the evening, walk down Passeig de Gràcia, accross Plaça Catalunya and continue down Les Rambles and into the Gothic Quarter. Lights on from 6pm to 9pm aprox.

- Cycling to light a Sustainable Christmas Three: This year the city council has set up a few sustainable Christmas trees. Some, like the one between the Arc de Triomf and the Ciutadella Park work with sun power. Others, like the one in the gardens at the crossing between Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal Avenue, or the one in front of the Santa Caterina Market, work with the energy generated by people cycling.

And many more TO-DO and TO-SEE things!

Tapas tours in Barcelona!

Tapas tours in Barcelona!Tapas tours in Barcelona!

Tapas are a famous typical Spanish way of eating: a variety of dishes served in small portions to share with your friends.

It's lots of fun and it makes a great introduction to the wonderful world of Spanish cooking.

I designed an itinerary around some of the best tapas bars of the Old Town to sample specialities from different regions of Spain, try different products and enjoy different athmospheres: from the shabby taberns to the traditional bars to the trendy venues.

It's a 4h walking tour: lunchtime from noon to 4pm, or dinnertime from 8pm to midnight.

Plus you get to go out at night with a real local and experience the city foody nightlife!
